Shunan Zhao
Associate Professor of Economics -- Oakland University
I got my Ph.D. degree in Economics from State University of New York at Binghamton. My research areas include production economics and applied econometrics. I am interested in topics related to productivity analysis, identification and estimation of production technology, spillovers, exporting, R&D, the economy of China, semi/nonparametric regression, panel data models, spatial econometrics, and stochastic frontier analysis,. Most of my research is on the intersection of production economics, econometrics, industrial organization, and the Chinese economy.
I also received a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) degree in Finance from Lingnan University, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the Chu Kochen College at Zhejiang University in China.
Currently, I serve as an Associate Editor of Empirical Economics.
